Privacy Notice
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Who is responsible for your information
Bilamdh Solutions Ltd is the data controller. The company is registered in England and Wales, company number 16155566.
Questions about this notice can be sent to info@thecommercialdesk.co.uk or raised by calling 07345 102 308.
What is collected
When you make an enquiry, the information includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, who referred you (if you choose to say) and the details you provide about the business problem.
The enquiry record also holds its source, status, follow-up dates, internal notes and an activity history. For spam prevention, the website temporarily stores a one-way hash of the connection address. The original address is not stored.
Website measurement
The website’s hosting platform records anonymous page views (which pages are visited, from which country, on what kind of device) so we can see which pages are read. It does not identify you and is not shared with anyone else.
Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to respond, decide whether Bilamdh Solutions can help, prepare for a conversation and manage agreed follow-up. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
It is also used where there is a legitimate interest in managing genuine business enquiries, keeping an accurate contact history and protecting the website from misuse. Information may be kept where required to meet legal obligations or deal with a legal claim.
Who it is shared with
Information is not sold. It is available only to authorised Bilamdh Solutions users and trusted providers that operate the website, secure database, business email and the online booking calendar. Those providers act under their own contractual and security obligations.
If you book a call through the calendar on the booking page, the name, email address, phone number and answers you give there are processed by Cal.com, which provides the scheduling service, and the appointment is written into the business calendar.
If you pay for the Health Check, the payment is taken by Stripe, which processes your card details under its own privacy notice; we receive your name, email address and the payment reference, not your card number. Client documents sent for a Health Check are handled as the Health Check terms describe.
How long it is kept
An enquiry that does not become a client record is reviewed after 12 months from the last meaningful activity and deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. The short-lived spam-prevention hash is removed within 24 hours.
If you become a client, relevant correspondence and commercial records may be kept for longer where needed for the contract, tax, insurance or legal purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, object to or restrict its use, or ask for it to be deleted. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
To exercise a right, email info@thecommercialdesk.co.uk. Identity may need to be confirmed before information is released.
